Duplicates

Sometimes it may happen that, above all, if you have a huge repository, documents with same content are stored in several locations. This may lead to unnecessary storage space occupation.

When you store whatever file in LogicalDOC, a digest is calculated, so then you are able to detect duplications that is what shows you the Duplicates report:

Duplicates

The entries in the report are by default grouped by the digest, but you may change the grouping criteria. If you right-click on an item, you may take an action: for instance, you may delete all the duplications but not the only file you want to maintain.

Deduplication

If the duplications are too many to resolve them manually one by one, you may click on the Deduplicate button to launch am automatic deduplication procedure.

Here you may choose if you want to consider as the real document the newest one or the oldest one: that file will be left untouched while all the others will be converted into aliases that save storage occupation.

Calendar

Into the [Calendar] panel you can perform a search to find all calendar events.

You can search the events by various criteria:

You can also print and/or export the results.

Tickets

The Tickets report lists all the tickets currently available in the system.

The report is interactive, and you can right-click on whatever ticket to disable it or to take other actions:

Subscriptions

The Subscriptions report lists all the subscriptions of the users to the alerts issued by the folders and files. You can restrict the list using the different criteria you find in the toolbar.

You can also print and/or export the results.

If you right click on a record you can also edit it's details.

Last Changes

In the [Last Changes] panel you can retrieve the last events on folders and documents and the last user session activities. You can perform a search to enlist the activities performed on the defined date range and regarding a specific and exact  User, Session ID (SID) or Event.

In particular, by right clicking of the SID column element, the SID text form search criterion will be filled by the selected item.
